The CL and SL Series filters are self-contained inline filters. The CL-Series filters are loaded with granular activated carbon. The SL-Series filters are loaded with phosphate to protect equipment and plumbing from scaling. With a diameter of 2" these series are available in 6" and 10" lengths. The filters require the user to replace the inlet and outlet fittings at the
time of filter replacement. Inlet and outlet ports are available in 1/8", 1/4" and 3/8" female NPT (National Pipe Thread) sizes. The manufacturer recommends annual replacement of CL Series filters (given normal residential usage) and recommends that SL Series filters be replaced every 6 months.
