Note: The push/pull connectors come with a small piece of tubing "plug" in them. This plug is for sanitary purposes only. The plug prevents any foreign debris from entering the filter. To remove the plug you push in on the connectors plastic ring, while holding pressure on the ring, pull the plug out. The same method is used to remove the tubing when it is time to replace the filter. To install the tube it is not necessary to push in the ring. Simply insert the tube into the connector as far as it will go. Give the tubing a slight tug to ensure it is locked into place.
