Water, Water Everywhere and not a drop to drink...

Flooding often fouls municipal water systems.  Earthquakes and floods damage pipes and infrastructure causing water contamination. Power outages due to storms, hurricanes and tornados leave people without the electricity required to move water to their taps. Be it flooding, hurricane, tornado, earthquake or a National Emergency, it is wise to have an alternative source of safe drinking water. We offer proprietary systems designed specifically to meet this need:

A System For Individuals, Families, Groups and Organizations

If a community has been struck by a natural disaster of the sort that would disrupt soils (such as an earthquake or flooding) the delivery infrastructure may be compromised and/or there may be cross-contamination. In these situations it is always wise to treat your water until the authorities assure you that use of your municipal water system is safe. As well as having a bad odor and taste, contaminated water can contain microorganisms (germs, bacteria and viruses) that cause diseases such as dysentery, typhoid, and hepatitis. All water of uncertain quality should be treated before using it for drinking, food preparation, or hygiene.

The Outback - A System For Individuals, Families, Groups and Organizations:

The Outback is a critical component of any emergency preparedness or food storage program. Designed for long term use, The Outback is a gravity-powered system and purifies water from almost any fresh or moving* water source. Rugged and durable, it was designed to be used when municipal supplies are compromised or are not available. The Outback's design has been proven effective by rescue, relief and religious organizations in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia and is widely used by missionary and government organizations throughout the world. All of this -- as well as being simple enough for a child to operate.

The HLS-1P - A System to Help Government Organizations, Cities, Communities and Municipalities Provide Potable Water to Their Residents

Many cities, municipalities are struggling to identify a way to provide safe drinking water to their residents during, and in the aftermath, of major storms and natural disasters. In 2008 FEMA, a division of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) initiated a search for a system to meet this need. The only system meeting all of their criterion and the system they ultimately recommended to the requesting municipality was our HLS-1P.  Read about The HLS-1P here.

The HLS-1P was tested by NSF (National Sanitation Foundation), endorsed by FEMA (a division of The Department of Homeland Security) and designed to be used by individuals when municipal water supplies are failing or are compromised. This system is available to government organizations, municipalities and NGOs for short term use during emergency/disaster situations.
