Water Filtration Systems
Water filtration systems come in two types: Point of Use (POU) and Point of Entry (POE).
Point of use systems are generally installed at the kitchen or bathroom sink. The point of use systems can have one, two or threefilter housings with each housing containing an individual filter with a system flow rate of approximately 1/2 – 1 gallon perminute. A point of use system can be installed on the counter top or under counter.
Point of entry systems are installed where the main water line enters the home. The point of entry system is commonly referred to as a whole house system, as the filtration it offers treats the water for the entire home. Like a point of use system, the point of entry allows for one, two or three filter housing with a system flow rate of 5 -20 gallon per minute.
A wide variety of filters manufactured to treat a wide range of water related contaminants are available for both the point of use and the point of entry systems.
ESP under counter filtration systems are available in both single & two stage designs. The systems use the Omnipure Q series “quick twist” design with either a “valved” or “non-valved” head design. A wide variety of Omnipure Q series filters are available to address a large number of water contaminants. Under counter filtration systems require them to be plumbed to the main cold water supply.
ESP counter top water filtration systems simply attach to your faucet and do not require that they be plumbed to the main cold water supply. The systems are available in either single stage or two stage configurations. There are a multitude of both standard and specialty cartridges that can be used to remove a long list of water related contaminates.
ESP whole house filtration systems are commonly referred to as “point of entry units”. The systems are installed at the point where the main water line enters the home or building. The systems are offered in single, double and triple chamber units. The chambers are available in 10 and 20-inch lengths, and in either slim or wide body designs. There is a wide range of filters available for these whole house systems – designed to remove many contaminates.
ESP offers replacement filters for generic as well as proprietary filtration units. These filters are manufactured by the leading major U.S. filtration manufacturers such as Filter Specialty, Omnipure, Osmonics, Systematics and more. The range of filters include those capable of addressing such concerns as sediment and turbidity, chlorine, nitrates, fluoride, arsenic and more.
ESP offers replacement parts for the most common water filtration systems on the market. The replacement parts include such items as faucets, tubing, fittings, housings, wrenches, cold water line connectors and more.
