If your Rainsoft 9596 Four-Stage Reverse Osmosis System is due for filter replacements, we offer high-quality compatible filters for this system (see below). Purchasing proprietary filters for the Rainsoft 9596 RO system are expensive, must be purchased directly from a Rainsoft authorized dealer, and have no real benefits over standard RO systems.
Note: If your reverse osmosis system is from 2013 or newer, it most likely is the Ultrefiner II RO system which requires proprietary Rainsoft filters and our “compatible filters” will not work.
Update Recommendation: To reduce costs, save water, and produce purified water faster, consider converting your Rainsoft system to the PuROTwist Retrofit Kit (PT4000T75-RK). This conversion kit allows you to use PuROTwist filters with your existing Rainsoft faucet, tank, and tubing. Start saving on replacement filters today!

Helpful Filter Information
Not all filters have the same replacement schedule. Replace the RO membrane filter every two years. Replace all other filters every 6-12 months. Help keep your system sanitary by never using filters longer than 12 months, except the RO membrane filter, regardless of how much water you use.
Filter Replacement Schedule
We’ve taken the guesswork out of replacing your filters. Begin a filter replacement cycle by replacing all filters on your system (Filter Kit "YSM"). The following year, or sooner if recommended by the manufacturer, replace all filters except the RO membrane (Filter Kit "YS"). Repeat this cycle by following the helpful diagram below.
