Le 41407009 est identique au filtre 41407002, mais avec une filtration supplémentaire jusqu'à 1 micron, réduisant ainsi le chlore, le goût et l'odeur plus efficacement que le filtre à bloc de carbone 41407002.
En tant que deuxième étape du système d'osmose inverse, le filtre à bloc de carbone 41407009 permet de réduire le chlore, le goût et l'odeur avant qu'ils n'atteignent la membrane d'osmose inverse.
