Q:

How do I replace my Vertex RO filters?

A:

Start by selecting your Vertex reverse osmosis system above. You'll be taken to a page that provides manuals or instructions for your specific model. General filter replacement instructions are available here.

Q:

How do I order replacement filters for my Vertex RO system?

A:

Begin by selecting the image of your Vertex system shown above. You'll then be able to add the required filters to your shopping cart. For added convenience, consider purchasing a "filter kit" that contains all the necessary filters you need. It's important to note that the RO membrane typically requires a change once every two years, whereas  sediment and carbon filters should be replaced every 6-12 months, depending on the frequency of use and the quality of your water.

Q:

Which Vertex membrane or filters do I need for my RO filter system?

A:

Select your Vertex RO unit from the list above. You will be taken to a new page that shows the available membrane and filters for your Vertex RO system. Be sure to select the correct RO membrane size (listed in GPD or gallons per day). If you have any questions, please call our customer support team at 877-377-9876. We're available Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Central Time.

Q:

What contaminants can Vertex RO systems remove?

A:

Vertex reverse osmosis filters and membrane can remove common pollutants from water including lead, pesticides, sulfates, fluoride, nitrates, pharmaceuticals, arsenic and much more. The RO system's carbon filter will also remove chloramines and chlorine.

Learn more about what contaminants can be removed with reverse osmosis filtration.

Q:

How do I find the right replacement filters for my Vertex RO or PureWaterCooler system?

A:

Select your model on the Vertex RO replacement filters page. Each system page lists the correct filter kits, individual cartridges, and RO membranes so you can order everything needed for a complete change.

Q:

How often should I replace filters and the RO membrane on a Vertex RO system?

A:

Most Vertex sediment and carbon filters are replaced every 6–12 months, while RO membranes often last around 24 months, depending on water quality and use. System-specific schedules are shown on product pages like the Vertex PWC-3500 filter kit.

Q:

What filters does a Vertex PT-4.0 bottleless cooler use, and how often should they be replaced?

A:

The Vertex PT-4.0 typically uses a sediment prefilter, a carbon block filter, and an RO membrane (depending on configuration). Most filters are replaced every 6–12 months, while the RO membrane usually lasts 2–3 years based on water quality. You can find compatible cartridges and full kits on the Vertex bottleless cooler filters page.

Q:

Which Vertex RO systems use the MH-4206 encapsulated 75 GPD RO membrane?

A:

The Vertex MH-4206 75 GPD encapsulated membrane is used in select systems such as the PureWaterMachine 3C-4.0 and certain PWC coolers like the PWC-3500. You can confirm compatibility on the Vertex MH-4206 RO membrane product page.

Q:

Where can I find manuals and installation instructions for my Vertex RO system?

A:

Go to the Vertex RO systems page and click your exact model. Each system page typically includes downloads for owners manuals, spec sheets, and installation or filter-change instructions.

Q:

How do I know which GPD RO membrane my Vertex system uses when ordering a replacement?

A:

Check the label on your current membrane or your system manual for the GPD rating (such as 50 GPD or 75 GPD). ESP product pages, like those for the Vertex PWC-2000 and its filter kits, list the compatible membrane size so you can match the correct RO membrane for your Vertex system.
