"This wrench worked for the purpose of opening my RO filter housings, but was not easy to use. It is made to latch on to a ridge on the housing so that you can pull it towards you with the handle so that the housing loosens. This is challenging because the housings are sealed tighter than a normal hand tightening because of the vacuum seal that is created because of the pressure build up, even though you've released as much pressure as possible prior. The tool can, and does slip off if the housing is super tight. But with the right angle and enough (seriously) elbow grease and tries, it gets the job done. If the tool were a bit thicker in it's width makeup (or density) it might be easier to use."
