"We recently moved into a house with a well. I had ordered a light from Amazon because it was cheap and easy to find.. but I was nervous to just change it, after having never been off of city water previously. Anyway, the light went out and I finally had no excuse not to replace it! The Amazon knockoff worried be since it was a dim purple and I almost thought it wasn't working at all until I turned the lights off and saw the faint glow.
