Este filtro de sedimentos de polipropileno de 5 micras enrollado en cuerda es el reemplazo de prefiltro especificado de fábrica para los sistemas de ósmosis inversa Hydrotech, compatible con las Series 1240 (E, M y Pro), HT101, HT102, HT103 y HT123. Como primera línea de defensa en su sistema de OI, captura suciedad, óxido, arena y partículas en suspensión de hasta 5 micras antes de que el agua llegue a la membrana, protegiéndola de un ensuciamiento prematuro y extendiendo su vida útil.
Debido a su función como barrera principal de sedimentos, este filtro trabaja más duro que las etapas posteriores y debe reemplazarse cada 3 a 6 meses para mantener un flujo adecuado y la eficiencia del sistema.
