"I ordered my bulb in april, when i went to install it in may the bulb was broken in two pieces, they sent a new one, it burned out in 2-3 hours, the 3rd bulb arrived and worked but it had been so lond without a good luminor RL-850 UV bulb i had to disinfect the whole system. I asked them to expedite th ebulb and they said no. . ."

How do I know if the RL-850 is the right lamp for my system?

Check the model number on your system's nameplate. The RL-850 fits LB4-201, LB5-201, and LB6-201. If your model ends in a different number, like -101, -151, or -061, you need a different lamp.

Is a 21 GPM system (LB4-201, LB5-201, LB6-201) big enough for my house?
A:
Yes, for the vast majority of homes. As a sizing reference, ESP recommends at least 6 GPM for a 1-bathroom home, 9 GPM for 2 bathrooms, 12 GPM for 3, 15 GPM for 4, and 18 GPM for 5, and it's better to oversize than undersize. At 21 GPM, the LB4/LB5/LB6-201 covers the largest homes on that scale with room to spare. For flow needs beyond that (large commercial applications), contact ESP directly since those are sized on a case-by-case basis.

I installed a new RL-850 and now the system says "Lamp Incorrect." What's wrong?

This alarm means the lamp key doesn't match what your chamber requires. Compare the part number on the lamp key to the silver label on the UV chamber. If they don't match, you have the wrong lamp; the RL-850 is for the standard-output LB4/LB5/LB6-201 systems listed above, and BLACKCOMB-HO systems use an entirely different model and lamp lineup. If the numbers do match and the alarm persists, contact Luminor support.
Q:
How do I reset the lamp timer after installing the RL-850?
A:
On a 4.1 controller (4-digit LED display), press and hold the front button until the display cycles through rSt3, rSt2, rSt1 and beeps. On a 5.1 controller (LCD display with lamp key), unplug the controller, remove the old lamp key, insert the new lamp's key, then plug it back in. Either way, the display should return to showing full lamp life remaining; if it doesn't, contact Luminor support.

Will a non-Luminor replacement lamp work in my BLACKCOMB system?
A:
It may physically fit, but Luminor systems are NSF/ANSI 55 certified as a complete lamp-and-system unit. A non-Luminor lamp voids that certification and can affect your warranty if an issue comes up.
