This is a genuine Luminor Blackcomb RQ-290 replacement quartz sleeve for the Luminor LB4-031, LB5-031, LB6-031 ultraviolet disinfection systems.
This quartz sleeve will keep the RL-290 UV lamp from shorting out and helps maintain the UV lamp's ideal operating temperature.
Mineral build-up hinders the lamp's effectiveness and should be cleaned regularly. UV quartz sleeves should be replaced when they are chipped, cracked, or remain discolored even after cleaning.
