Luminor RQ-K2 Replacement UV Quartz Sleeve for K2 LK5/LK6 UV Systems

The RQ-K2 is a genuine Luminor replacement quartz sleeve for Luminor K2 multi-lamp UV water treatment systems: the K2 LK5 and LK6 series in A22, A42 and A62 sizes, including TOC-reduction models. At 1,200 mm (47.2 in) long, it surrounds each UV lamp inside the stainless steel chamber, keeping the lamp dry while its 254 nm UV output passes into the water. Every lamp has its own sleeve, so order one RQ-K2 per lamp in your system.

When to clean or replace the sleeve

Luminor calls for cleaning the quartz sleeves at least once a year, and more often when hardness approaches 7 grains per gallon or iron and manganese are present, because scale and mineral deposits block UV light. Replace the sleeves every 24 months, or sooner if cracked, etched or still cloudy after cleaning. Luminor water limits for these systems also include chlorine under 4 ppm.
