The Outback™ PLUS is a portable gravity-powered water filtration system that can filter water from almost any fresh water source. No plumbing, tools or electricity needed.

Rugged and durable, the Outback™ PLUS is designed for disaster preparedness and survival, as well as daily use during a boil water advisory or other times when your drinking water is compromised.

NOTE: In times of emergency, FEMA and Red Cross recommend a supply of 1 gal of potable water per person per day, and the OB25RDY can purify up to 24 gallons of water per day--enough water for an entire family. Learn more abut the Outback with this video.

✓EFFECTIVE: The Outback™ PLUS OB25RDY incorporates 4 stages of filtration that effectively remove bacteria at 99.9999%, cysts at 99.99%, virus at 99.99%, organic contaminants, pesticides, herbicides, and is also capable of removing E. Coli, Giardia, and Cryptosporidium, and more.

✓HIGH CAPACITY: The Outback Plus produces 24 gal water per day for about $.07/gallon and filters up to 1,800 gallons before filters need replacing. Filters can last up to 12 months. Replacement filters are also available.

✓SIMPLE OPERATION: Pour water into the upper chamber through the pre-filter net and wait for the water to filter down to the lower chamber.

✓EASY ASSEMBLY: The system is simple to assemble and can be completed within minutes.

✓COMPACT DESIGN: This water purification system is compact for easy storage. All filters and components stay dry and protected in the smaller 2 gallon bucket with a tight sealed lid, which all fits inside another 5-gal bucket for storage.

The Outback™ PLUS is designed for disaster preparedness and survival, as well as daily use when municipal systems are compromised or in undeveloped areas where potable water is not available.

Outback water filter

"I used this water filter for a springtime Turkey hunt from Canoe on a mountain lake in Arkansas. I brought 2 gallons of freshwater with me and the only other water I had was from the lake which was covered with pollen. This filter cleaned and purified all my drinking water for the 2 weeks that I was on the lake. I am very satisfied with this product and can highly recommend It."

"We bought this because we live in an area where we lose water a few times a year for one reason or another. We used it for the first time yesterday and it was very easy to set up. We had drinkable water quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this for its ease of use and affordability."

"I never actually used it. I own it as an emergency water supply should I ever need it to drink the water from my creek. Be prepared!"

Using the Outback Plus

"It is May 8th 2021 just returned from a two-week stay on a mountain lake in Arkansas. Springtime on the lake presents a lot of pollen issues. The water source is very clear but the pollen is very heavy. The Outback Plus had no problem with the pollen. I filtered at least 25 gallons of good drinking water. Yes the sock filter over the particulate filter in the top bucket needs cleaning no problem the Outback Plus served me very well. Customer service was great also. The bottom bucket lid did not fit when I received my unit. But upon notification one was shipped out with Expediance. I guess my only question would be what covers the holes where the spicket and the two buckets meet for long-term storage?"

It makes sense.

"It makes sense."

Agua Sin Gas

"At first seems a bit expensive for two plastic Lowes buckets tied together ... Neighbor gave me a lot of grief in that regard.....But if I ever need it in an emergency "and that is all it would be used for" and it works, all is forgiven."

Q&A

Can your system be used with pond water?
Yes. It is always best to use water from a fresh water source. Typical water supplies that are used with the Outback are streams, creeks, rivers, ponds and lakes. Additional water sources may be rainwater collection, water heaters, swimming pools, spas, fresh water from the toilet and untreated stored water. Note that the chemicals in swimming pool/spa water will lessen the life of the filters, and filters will need to be replaced earlier.
