El gran tamaño de la carcasa hace que esta unidad sea perfecta para aplicaciones de alto caudal. Se construyen opciones de puerto de entrada y salida de 1" o 1,5" NPT. Q:
What cartridges fit this Pentair 20-inch Big Blue housing?
A:
It accepts most nominal 4.5-by-20-inch Big Blue-style cartridges. Confirm cartridge diameter, length, and end-cap configuration.
Q:
What is the difference between 150233 and 150235?
A:
Part 150233 has 1-inch NPT inlet/outlet ports; part 150235 has 1.5-inch NPT ports. Choose the version that matches the plumbing.
Q:
What does the pressure-release button do?
A:
It helps relieve trapped housing pressure before loosening the sump. Shut off water first and follow the service procedure.
Q:
Does the housing include a filter cartridge?
A:
Do not assume a cartridge is included unless it is listed in the package contents. Select sediment or carbon media for the intended treatment role.
Q:
How often should the housing O-ring be serviced?
A:
Inspect it at every cartridge change and replace it if cut, flattened, stretched, or brittle. Use only a light coating of food-grade silicone when directed.
Q:
How should the sump be tightened?
A:
Seat it squarely and hand-tighten as directed. Use the correct wrench mainly for loosening; overtightening can damage the housing or O-ring.
