"I use the Viqua 1 mic filter and UV sterilizer on a well water system. I went from 5 mic to the 1 mic without noticing any diminution of flow/pressure at the taps although I would expect some. Motivated by reports of microplastics as well as by potential infectives. Upstream from this system is a 5 mic sediment filter and a carbon/taste filter. Used this same setup on previous residence to insure safe water since my son was leukemic/immunosuppressed and we couldn't tolerate any waterborne disease."
