- 1" x 1" FPT
- Material: acero inoxidable 316L
Q:
What does the VIQUA FRSS-26.1 do?
A:
It limits flow to approximately 26 GPM under specified conditions, helping maintain the exposure time used in the compatible UV-system design.
Q:
Which systems use the VIQUA FRSS-26.1?
A:
The catalog lists: FRSS-26, SP600-HO. Confirm the exact model and part number on your equipment before ordering VIQUA FRSS-26.1.
Q:
What connection size does it use?
A:
It uses 1-inch female NPT connections. Confirm thread size, flow direction, and available installation length.
Q:
Will actual flow always equal the labeled rate?
A:
Actual flow can vary with pressure, temperature, plumbing resistance, and installation conditions. Verify system performance after installation.
Q:
Can I use a different restrictor size?
A:
Do not substitute a different flow rating unless the equipment manufacturer approves it; excess flow can move water through the chamber faster than intended.
Q:
Where should it be installed?
A:
Install it in the location and direction shown in the system manual, with appropriate support and access for service.
