When the existing lamp stopped working I bought a knockoff lamp, which didn't work, the seller suggested that the ballast may be bad so I bought a new ballast ($180) and the lamp still wouldn't turn on. Finally, I bought the factory lamp, and it worked. The rest of the story is that my entire home plumbing was contaminated with coliform. Now I had to invest in bottled water and boiling water through the entire month of December. I'm going to take another sample lab tested to verify that my water is potable."
