This kit includes the genuine VIQUA replacement UV lamp and accompanying quartz sleeve for the VIQUA G, G+ and Pro10 Model UV treatment systems.
The included amalgam lamp provides higher strength and up to 2 years of lamp life. The sleeve can be replaced every 24 months or as needed to keep mineral build-up from hindering the lamp's effectiveness. Replacing the lamp every 24 months is extremely important to maintain proper system efficacy.
Why using a genuine VIQUA lamp is important: VIQUA UV systems and lamps are tested and certified as a complete unit. "There was an address issue in the UPS system. Customer Service called to validate. Even with that minor delay, the shipment arrived a day earlier than requested. ESP is not my permanent Viqua supplier."
