Luminor RL-843A Replacement UV Lamp for Rainier LR5/LR6-140 UV Systems

The RL-843A is a genuine Luminor 172-watt replacement UV lamp for LUMINOR RAINIER 140-series light-commercial UV water treatment systems (RAINIER 5.0 LR5-140X and RAINIER 6.0 LR6-140X). It is a low-pressure amalgam lamp with a black base and 254 nm germicidal output for general disinfection, rated for 12,000 hours of use; replace it every 12 months to keep UV output at the rated level. Each 140-series system uses two RL-843A lamps.

The RAINIER controller counts down the hours remaining on the lamps. The display starts flashing at 512 hours remaining, and an alarm sounds at zero. Replace both lamps with the part number shown on the reactor label, then reset the lamp countdown as described in the RAINIER manual.

The last digit of a RAINIER model number is the power-plug code (1 = North American 120V, 5 = North American 230V NEMA 6-15, 2/3/4 = European, British and Australian plugs), so all LR5-140X and LR6-140X general-disinfection systems use the RL-843A. TOC-reduction models (LR5/LR6-140X-TOC) need the RL-843A-TOC instead, which adds 185 nm output.
