How many RLQ-1000A kits do I need for my system?
A:
It depends on your chamber size. The 85 GPM "-851" systems (LR5-851, LR6-851, and their low-UVT "-50" versions) use a single-lamp chamber and need one RLQ-1000A. The 175 GPM "-1751" systems (LR5-1751, LR6-1751, and their "-50" versions) use a dual-lamp chamber and need two RLQ-1000A kits. Check your chamber before ordering.

What's included in the RLQ-1000A kit?

The kit includes one genuine RL-1000A UV lamp, one RQ-1000 quartz sleeve, and a lamp key.

How often should I replace the lamp and sleeve?
A:
Replace the RL-1000A lamp every 12 months or 12,000 hours of use, whichever comes first. Replace the RQ-1000 quartz sleeve every 24 months, or sooner if it's visibly scaled, cloudy, or damaged.

Can I buy just the lamp or just the sleeve instead of the full kit?

Yes. The RL-1000A lamp and RQ-1000 sleeve are also sold separately if you only need to replace one part.

Does the RL-1000A lamp in this kit also fit Luminor Everest systems?
A:
The RL-1000A lamp itself is also used in Luminor Everest LE5/LE6-A42, A62, and A72 industrial systems (standard, hot-water, and low-UVT versions). However, Everest systems use a different quartz sleeve (RQ-K2), not the RQ-1000 included in this kit, so this RLQ-1000A kit is intended for the Rainier systems listed above.
