Clean it if it's scaled or lightly stained; replace it if it's scratched, pitted, or stays cloudy after cleaning. Even with no visible damage, Luminor recommends replacing the sleeve every 24 months as routine maintenance, since UV-C transmission through quartz declines gradually with age.

Do I need to buy the lamp too, or can I just replace the sleeve?

The RQ-600 is the sleeve only.
