How do I know if the RL-210 is the right lamp for my system?
A:
Check the model number on your system's nameplate. The RL-210 fits any Luminor BLACKCOMB system ending in "-021" — LB4-021, LB5-021, LB6-021, LB5-021B, LB6-021B, LB6-021A, and LBV-021. If your model ends in a different number (like -031, -061, or -101), you need a different lamp — see our full Luminor lamp lineup.

How often should I replace the RL-210?
A:
Every 12 months or 9,000 hours of use, whichever comes first, even though the lamp is rated for 10,000 hours total. UV-C output drops off before the lamp fails, so replacing on schedule keeps your water treatment at full strength.

Does the RL-210 come with a lamp key?
A:
Yes. Every RL-210 ships with the lamp key your BLACKCOMB controller needs to recognize the lamp. It only works with genuine Luminor-branded systems.
Q:
Will a non-Luminor replacement lamp work in my BLACKCOMB system?
A:
It may physically fit, but Luminor systems are NSF/ANSI 55 certified as a complete lamp-and-system unit. A non-Luminor lamp voids that certification and can affect your warranty if an issue comes up.
Q:
Is the RL-210 the same as the RL-210HO lamp?
A:
No. The RL-210 (8W) is for the standard-output BLACKCOMB LB4/LB5/LB6-021 systems. The RL-210HO (18W) is a different lamp for the BLACKCOMB-HO LBH-series systems. Check your nameplate before ordering.
