How do I know if the RL-210HO is the right lamp for my system?

Check the model number on your system's nameplate. The RL-210HO fits any Luminor BLACKCOMB-HO system ending in "-051": LBH4-051, LBH5-051, LBH6-051, LBH5-051B, LBH6-051B, and LBH6-051A. If your model doesn't have an "LBH" prefix, you have a standard-output BLACKCOMB system and need the RL-210 instead, not the RL-210HO.

What's the difference between a High Output (HO) system and a standard BLACKCOMB system?
A:
Both use LP-HO coated lamps that hold their UV dose steadily over their full rated life, and Luminor positions the BLACKCOMB-HO line as a "Residential Crossover" option for larger custom homes, lodges, and light commercial jobs that need more disinfection capacity than a standard system provides. Water quality requirements are the same either way: at least 75% UVT (or 50% for low-UVT-rated models).

What does a "Lamp Failure" alarm mean?

It means the controller can't light the lamp. Unplug the system for at least 3 minutes, check that the lamp connector is fully seated, then plug it back in. If the alarm continues, replace the lamp. If a new lamp doesn't clear it, the controller itself may need service.

How do I reset the lamp timer after installing the RL-210HO?
A:
On a 4.1 controller (4-digit LED display), press and hold the front button until the display cycles through rSt3, rSt2, rSt1 and beeps. On a 5.1 controller (LCD display with lamp key), unplug the controller, remove the old lamp key, insert the new lamp's key, then plug it back in. Either way, the display should return to showing full lamp life remaining; if it doesn't, contact Luminor support.
