Find EcoWater-compatible filters and manuals by selecting your system below
With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, EcoWater stands out as a leading manufacturer in the water treatment industry. EcoWater has consistently delivered reverse osmosis drinking water solutions to provide households with clean, filtered water. To help our customers save money, we offer RO filters, membranes, and parts, that are compatible with EcoWater reverse osmosis systems.
EcoWater proprietary water filters can be expensive. We offer compatible high-quality filters, RO membranes, cartridges, and lamps that cost much less but provide that same clean, great-tasting drinking water you'd expect. By installing EcoWater-compatible reverse osmosis filter replacements and taking care of routine system maintenance yourself, you can save money.
How do I order replacement filters for my EcoWater drinking water filtration system?
Start by selecting the photo of your EcoWater system above. You can then add filters and parts to your cart. Keep in mind that the RO membrane usually only needs to be replaced every two years, while the sediment and carbon filters are replaced every 6-12 months depending on water usage and water quality.
Will these compatible filters work directly with my EcoWater RO filtration system?
Some filters and membranes will work directly with your EcoWater reverse osmosis system and others will require a "conversion kit" be installed first (such as the Ero 300 model). A retrofit kit allows you to keep using your current EcoWater tank and faucet, but by installing a new manifold (component that holds the filters), you're able to use less expensive EcoWater-compatible filters going forward. What contaminants will these EcoWater-compatible filters remove?
EcoWater-compatible RO filters are designed to effectively remove a wide range of contaminants from water. These contaminants include common pollutants such as nitrates, pesticides, sulfates, fluoride, lead, and pharmaceuticals. The integrated carbon filter further ensures the removal of chlorine and chloramines, enhancing the taste and odor of the water. When maintained properly, these filters can provide consistently clean and great-tasting drinking water. Learn more about what contaminants can be removed with a reverse osmosis filtration.
What is an EcoWater RO system and how does reverse osmosis work?
An EcoWater RO system uses multiple stages (pre-filters + a semi-permeable membrane + post-filters) to purify tap water. Water is forced under pressure through the RO membrane — contaminant particles are flushed out to drain while clean water goes to a storage tank. You can read a full explanation here: How Does a Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System Work
What contaminants does an EcoWater RO system remove?
EcoWater-compatible RO systems are designed to remove a broad range of impurities — including dissolved salts, heavy metals (like lead and arsenic), nitrates, pesticides, chlorine/chloramine, fluoride, and many more. For more detail on contaminant removal via RO, see: What Reverse Osmosis Removes
How often do I need to change filters and membranes on an EcoWater RO system?
As a general guideline: the sediment and carbon pre-filters should be replaced every 6–12 months (depending on water quality and usage), while the RO membrane typically lasts about 24 months (≈ 2 years). Post-filters (polishing filters) may also require periodic replacement. For step-by-step instructions, see: How to Change RO Filters & Membranes
Can I use non-proprietary filters with an EcoWater RO system?
Yes — ESP Water Products offers EcoWater-compatible (non-proprietary) filters and membranes, which may cost less than brand-name replacements. However, some EcoWater models (e.g., the ERO 300) may require a retrofit or conversion kit to adapt the manifold before non-proprietary filters can be used. Is maintenance (beyond filter changes) required for an EcoWater RO system?
Yes. In addition to regular filter and membrane replacement, it’s recommended to sanitize and clean the system (storage tank, tubing, etc.) approximately once per year. Monitoring system performance (water pressure, flow, taste) is also important. For full maintenance guidance, see: RO Maintenance & Care Guide
Do all EcoWater RO systems perform the same — or how do I know which one I have?
Not all RO units are identical — they differ by number of filtration stages, membrane capacity, and internal manifold design. If you need replacement filters or parts, the first step is to identify your exact system’s brand and model (on the manifold sticker).
