What size UV system do I need (Arros 9 vs 15 vs 22)

Do I need pre-filtration before UV?
Pre-filtration is often necessary because UV light requires clear water to properly disinfect. Sediment, turbidity, iron, or other particles can block UV penetration and reduce effectiveness. Homes using well water or experiencing visible sediment should strongly consider an IHS (Integrated Home System) model with built-in sediment and carbon filtration.
Does the Arros system remove chemicals or sediment?
UV systems are designed specifically for disinfection and do not remove sediment, hardness, iron, chlorine, or chemical contaminants. UV light neutralizes bacteria, viruses, and protozoa, but it does not filter the water. If contaminant removal is needed, the UV system should be paired with appropriate filtration equipment.
How effective is VIQUA Arros at eliminating pathogens?
