This 5-micron spun-bonded polypropylene sediment filter is the factory-specified pre-filter replacement for Microline CTA reverse osmosis and BRS3 systems, and is also compatible with Pentek RS-21SED5 and Clack FI-S-7011 systems. Installed as the first stage of filtration, it captures sand, rust, dirt, silt, and other suspended particles down to 5 microns before water reaches the membrane — shielding it from the sediment load that causes premature fouling and reduced output.
