What is the difference between YSM-HYDRO750 and YS-HYDRO750?

YSM-HYDRO750 is the full replacement kit and includes the two RO membranes in addition to the sediment and carbon filters. YS-HYDRO750 contains only the one sediment filter and two carbon filters, leaving the existing membranes in place. Choose YSM-HYDRO750 when the membranes are also due; choose YS-HYDRO750 for the more frequent prefilter-only service.

How often should the AXEON HYDRO 750 filters and RO membranes be replaced?

AXEON publishes a 3–6 month interval for the EZ-Twist sediment and carbon cartridges and a 6–12 month interval for the RO membranes. Actual timing depends on feed-water quality, production volume, pressure, and the HYDRO 750 controller’s service indication. A practical schedule is to use the prefilter-only kit between full services, then use YSM-HYDRO750 when both prefilters and membranes are due.

Are all five replacements in YSM-HYDRO750 installed the same way?
A:
No. The sediment and carbon cartridges use the keyed EZ-Twist connection: match each cartridge to its labeled head, push it up, and rotate it into place. The two RO membranes install inside the membrane housings, which must be opened and reassembled according to the HYDRO 750 manual. Lubricate the membrane O-rings with food-grade silicone, seat each membrane fully, and check every connection for leaks after startup.

Will installing YSM-HYDRO750 restore the system to 750 GPD?
A:
Fresh filters and membranes can address restriction, fouling, or declining rejection caused by exhausted elements, but they do not guarantee 750 GPD. HYDRO 750 production also depends heavily on inlet pressure, water temperature, TDS, and pretreatment.
