"Ordered replacement filters and they shipped quickly. Arrived well packaged."
"Great service and pricing."
"This product was substituted for the filter I actually ordered and I would have had to pay to return it. Having already paid the original shipping I chose to keep this less effective filter and cut my losses."
"This is my second order - these are great. I had been buying from our local water purification company, but I need to replace monthly due to very high iron in our water, and these are so much cheaper - same great product."
Q:
What does the Pentair DGD-7525 / 155355-43 reduce?
A:
It captures sand, rust, dirt, silt, and other suspended particles down to its nominal 25-micron rating. It does not reduce dissolved minerals or provide carbon treatment.
Q:
Which housings or systems use the Pentair DGD-7525 / 155355-43?
A:
The catalog lists: DGD-7525, GXWH35F. Confirm the exact model and part number on your equipment before ordering Pentair DGD-7525 / 155355-43. Its nominal size is 4.5-by-10-inch Big Blue.
Q:
What is this sediment filter made from?
A:
The filter uses dual-gradient polypropylene media designed for particle filtration. Match the exact part number and construction when replacing it.
Q:
How often should it be replaced?
A:
A common interval is 6 to 12 months, but sediment load, water use, and pressure drop determine actual life. Replace it sooner if flow declines.
Q:
Can I substitute another 4.5-by-10-inch Big Blue filter?
A:
Not automatically. Match the micron rating, media type, dimensions, flow requirement, and approved system fit; same-size filters can perform differently.
Q:
What should I check after replacement?
A:
Seat the cartridge and housing O-ring correctly, restore water slowly, check for leaks, and flush according to the equipment instructions.
