The VIQUA S8ROL/4P UV replacement lamp is an ozone producing lamp for the S8Q-OZ Ozone UV System for small residential swimming pools. The S8ROL is specifically designed to emit light at 185nm to produce ozone for treatment of pools up to 20,000 gallons. The S8ROL/4P lamp must be replaced every 12 months in order to maintain proper system efficacy and continue to produce ozone that inactivates microbes, such as Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and E.Coli, in order to reduce the amount of chemicals necessary for a pool.
