This 3 stage RO system uses a sediment pre-filter to reduce sediment particles before the membrane filters out impurities larger than .001 microns. The GAC post filter treats for taste and odor. You can find and order all your compatible filters at once in our replacement kits below. Please Note: Standard Rayne/Microline systems use standard Microline filters which are available below. Newer Rayne/Microline systems use pre and post filters designated with "RC". Such as S7028-RC. If your system requires the "RC" filters, the standard Rayne/Microline Filters we offer will not fit. Please look at the owners manual that you received with your system. If your manual shows the part numbers S7011, S7028, and S7025 without the "RC", the filters listed below will fit your system.
Replacement Filter Info
Sediment Filter (S7011) - Replace every 6-12 months or as needed
RO Membrane TFC 14 GPD (S1224RS) – Replace every 36 months or as needed
Carbon Block Filter(S7025) – Replace every 6 months or as needed
Helpful Filter Information
Not all filters have the same replacement schedule. Replace the RO membrane filter every two years. Replace all other filters every 6-12 months. Help keep your system sanitary by never using filters longer than 12 months, except the RO membrane filter, regardless of how much water you use.
Filter Replacement Schedule
We’ve taken the guesswork out of replacing your filters. Begin a filter replacement cycle by replacing all filters on your system (Filter Kit "YSM"). The following year, or sooner if recommended by the manufacturer, replace all filters except the RO membrane (Filter Kit "YS"). Repeat this cycle by following the helpful diagram below.
What replacement filters does the Rayne Clear 3-Stage RO system use?
The Rayne Clear 3-Stage RO system uses a sediment filter, carbon block filter, and post-carbon polishing filter to remove particles, chlorine, tastes, and odors before final polish. Find all compatible options in the Rayne Clear Replacement Filters collection.
How often should I replace Rayne Clear 3-Stage RO filters?
Replace the sediment and carbon filters every 6–12 months and the post-carbon filter annually to maintain flow and water quality. Timely changes help extend membrane life and improve taste. Browse replacements on the Rayne Clear Replacement Filters page.
How do I know which Rayne Clear RO filter fits my unit?
Rayne Clear uses standard 3-stage sizes. Confirm part numbers on your old cartridges, then select the precise replacements among the Rayne Clear Replacement Filters collection.
What contaminants will Rayne RO systems remove?
Rayne reverse osmosis filters and membrane can remove common pollutants from water including pesticides, sulfates, fluoride, nitrates, lead, pharmaceuticals, arsenic and more. The RO system's carbon filter will also remove chloramines and chlorine.
Can I install Rayne Clear RO replacement filters myself?
Yes. Rayne Clear filters are designed for easy DIY replacement. Shut off the feed water, relieve pressure, and swap cartridges following your system manual or the general RO instructions in the RO Filter Replacement Guide.
What signs mean it’s time to change Rayne Clear 3-Stage filters?
Look for slow water flow, off tastes or odors, and cloudiness in the water. Slow flow can also be caused by clogging — learn more in the Why RO Water Flow Is Slow article. If you see these issues, replace the appropriate cartridges from the Rayne Clear Replacement Filters collection.
Does replacing Rayne Clear filters improve water taste and quality?
Absolutely — fresh sediment and carbon filters help remove chlorine, particulates, and VOCs that affect taste and odor. Replacing filters on schedule ensures cleaner, better-tasting water from your 3-stage RO system. Shop replacements in the Rayne Clear Replacement Filters collection.
Why is my Rayne Clear RO system producing slow water flow?
Slow flow is often caused by clogged or expired pre-filters restricting water through the system. It can also result from air in the lines or low feed pressure — see common causes in the Why RO Water Flow Is Slow guide. If filters are old, replace them with options from the Rayne Clear Replacement Filters collection.
Can I replace only one stage at a time on my Rayne Clear RO system?
Yes — you can replace individual cartridges (e.g., sediment or carbon) as needed based on wear or water quality signs. However, replacing the entire 3-stage set together annually helps maintain balanced performance and consistent water taste. Find individual and complete sets on the Rayne Clear Replacement Filters page.
Does Rayne Clear RO filtration remove contaminants like chlorine and lead?
Yes — the sediment and carbon stages help remove particulates, chlorine, and many VOCs that affect taste and odor, while the RO membrane (in applicable models) reduces dissolved solids, including heavy metals. Fresh filters from the Rayne Clear Replacement Filters collection ensure you’re getting the best possible water quality.
