Luminor LBH5-Z222 UV System with Sediment and Carbon Filter 15 GPM

The Luminor LBH5-Z222 is a rack-mounted whole-home water treatment system that combines a BLACKCOMB-HO 5.1 high-output UV system with three 20-inch filter housings on one wall-mounted rack. Water passes through a 5-micron sediment cartridge, a scale-reduction cartridge and a high-capacity carbon cartridge before UV disinfection, all pre-plumbed for a simpler install. It is rated at 15 GPM (56.8 L/min) at 30 mJ/cm² and 95% UV transmittance, or 12 GPM at 40 mJ/cm².

How it works and alerts you

The full-colour LCD BLACKCOMB-HO 5.1 controller shows remaining lamp life, diagnostics and fault messages, warns 30 days before the lamp expires and shows a service reminder every 6 months to maintain both the UV and the filters. Its Infinite Expandability Port accepts an optional RSHO-B3.5 UV intensity sensor and modules such as MOD-SOL, MOD-420, MOD-RAM, MOD-SHERPA and the LFM flow meter. The controller reports lamp status; it does not by itself confirm the water is safe to drink, so Luminor recommends testing your water for microbiological contaminants regularly.

Maintenance and replacement parts

• UV lamp: RL-420HO. Replace every 12 months (rated 10,000 hours).
