Description

This thin film composite (TFC) reverse osmosis membrane is the factory-specified replacement for Microline TFC-35A, TFC-35S, TFC-335, and TFC-435 RO systems. Producing 50 gallons per day, this membrane represents an upgrade from the original 35 GPD model it replaced — while retaining the same part number, it delivers meaningfully improved output capacity without any changes to fit or installation.

As the core of any reverse osmosis system, the membrane is responsible for the heavy lifting — rejecting dissolved solids, contaminants, and impurities at the molecular level to produce clean, purified water. Its push-in with O-ring connection makes replacement straightforward, and the membrane should be replaced every 24 months under normal use conditions to ensure your system continues to perform at its rated capacity. Water quality and usage levels may affect how frequently replacement is needed.

  • TFC (thin film composite) membrane produces 50 GPD — an upgrade from the original 35 GPD model it superseded, with the same part number and fit
  • Direct replacement for Microline TFC-35A, TFC-35S, TFC-335, and TFC-435 RO systems
  • Push-in with O-ring connection for straightforward replacement

"I am very happy that I found ESP water products online. The place that I usually get all my filters were overcharging me, the prices here are very reasonable and I will continue to buy all of my reverse osmosis products from ESP water."

"This filter was installed by a professional plumber when we had our RO system installed. When it came time to replace it I used a different filter with the same specs and didn’t mention anything to my wife. I thought our RO water was a little off but it wasn’t terrible. She knew right away and said something was wrong. I ordered this filter and told her it was probably time to change the filter. This filter totally does the job even though the specs were the same. I’m only using this particular filter from now on in our RO system."

Substitute filter

"I was sent a similar membrane filter than the one I ordered. Was told it was compatible. So far it is working. We will have to see if it continues to function correctly."

Q&A

After changing the the three filter cartridges and turning the system back on is there a waiting time before using the system and drinking the water .. I noticed a black charcoal push from the faucet when I turned the water on
After replacing all the filters on your RO system, it is recommended to allow 2-3 gallons of treated water to dispense from the RO faucet before you begin drinking the water.
