Description
The AWP40B-V filter housing is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and is designed to accommodate most 4.5" x 10" filter cartridges. It features an improved three-piece housing design, which helps eliminate the common issue found in traditional two-piece housings—where pressure buildup over time makes them difficult to unscrew and replace.
This housing is also commonly used as a prefilter stage before VIQUA UV water treatment systems, helping remove sediment or other particulates so the UV light can operate at maximum effectiveness.
The kit includes a mounting bracket and wrench for easy installation and maintenance, along with 1" FPT inlet and outlet ports.
Recommended Filters
- VIQUA 4.5" X 10" (C2-01) 10 Micron Carbon Block Filter. Replace every 6-12 months.
- VIQUA 4.5" X 10" (CMB-510-HF) 20-5 Micron Sediment Filter. Replace every 6-12 months.
