Description
The AWP40B-V-PS kit includes the AWP40B-V filter housing that accommodates most 4.5" x 10" filter cartridges and features a newer, three-piece design. A three-piece design solves the problem with normal two-piece filter housing that causes them to become difficult to unscrew and replace filters due to pressure build-up over time. Bracket and wrench are included. 1" FPT ports.

- 3-piece high-flow filter housing w/ pressure relief valve, 1" FNPT
- CMB-510-HF High-flow sediment filter, 5 Micron, 4.5" x 10"

"The Viqua collar that holds the canister to the water line makes changing filters so much easier than the mess created by screwing out the whole canister. Either way design space to hold bucket underneath. I usually use two clear canisters in tandem; first serves to stop the bulk of the garbage allowing the second one to be of smaller microns. It’s easier to judge usage of filters by viewing the accumulation of particles than by noticing a drop in pressure. This time I’m using two different companies, The awkward, but clear Culligan on intake, followed by the easier maintaining Viqua which also has a better designed joint torique."
