Luminor MOD-SHERPA Wireless UV System Monitor for BLACKCOMB 5.1 and 6.1

The MOD-SHERPA is a genuine Luminor wireless monitoring module for BLACKCOMB 5.1 and 6.1 UV systems, including BLACKCOMB-HO 5.1/6.1. A transmitter plugs into the UV controller and sends system status to a small remote display you can place near a kitchen faucet or other convenient spot, up to 150 feet (46 m) away. You can see at a glance whether your UV system is working without going to the basement or equipment room.

What the remote display shows

• Green: good. No active alarms; water is being treated
• Yellow: caution. A minor alarm is active; check the system
• Red: alarm. A major alarm is active; the water is not safe to drink until resolved
• Blue: lost connection between the transmitter and the display

Kit includes

• SHERPA transmitter (plugs into the controller IEP port)
• SHERPA remote display (receiver)
• North American power adapter (NEMA 1-15) for the display

Compatibility and requirements

• BLACKCOMB 5.1 and 6.1 (LB5, LB6) and BLACKCOMB-HO 5.1 and 6.1 (LBH5, LBH6), including NSF Class A and B models
• Requires the Infinite Expandability Port (IEP) on the controller; not available for BLACKCOMB 4.1 or HO 4.1
• Not compatible with the MOD-RAM remote alarm module on the same system
• One transmitter supports up to five remote displays; extra displays are available without a transmitter (MOD-SHERPA-NT)

Transmitter and display are paired with encryption for a secure link. Wireless range depends on the building: walls, metal and other obstacles reduce it, and Luminor notes the SHERPA is best suited to residential installations. FCC and Industry Canada approved.
