Description
The RLQ-1000A bundles a genuine RL-1000A UV lamp and RQ-1000 quartz sleeve for Rainier light commercial UV water treatment systems. Both parts are authentic Luminor components, tested and certified together as a complete unit, so your system keeps performing the way it was originally certified.
How many kits does your system need? The 85 GPM "-851" systems use a single-lamp chamber and need one RLQ-1000A. The 175 GPM "-1751" systems use a dual-lamp chamber and need two RLQ-1000A kits. Check your chamber before ordering so you get the right quantity.
The lamp is rated for 12,000 hours of use, about 12 months of continuous operation, and runs on universal voltage. Luminor recommends replacing it every 12 months or 12,000 hours, whichever comes first. The quartz sleeve should be replaced every 24 months, or sooner if it's visibly scaled, cloudy, or damaged.
Why genuine Luminor parts matter Luminor tests and certifies its UV systems as a complete lamp, chamber, and sleeve unit. Non-Luminor parts can differ in output or quartz quality, which voids the system's certification and can affect your warranty coverage.

The RL-1000A lamp itself is also used in Luminor Everest LE5/LE6-A42, A62, and A72 industrial systems (standard, hot-water, and low-UVT versions). However, Everest systems use a different quartz sleeve (RQ-K2), not the RQ-1000 included in this kit, so this RLQ-1000A kit is intended for the Rainier systems listed above.
