The LUMINOR RQ-330 is an authentic LUMINOR replacement quartz sleeve designed for the following LUMINOR BLACKCOMB-HO High Output UV water treatment systems:
- BLACKCOMB-HO 4.1 LBH4-101
- BLACKCOMB-HO 5.1 LBH5-101
- BLACKCOMB-HO 6.1 LBH6-101
The RQ-330 is also the confirmed compatible replacement for the Aquasana AQ-UV-Q330 quartz sleeve used in the Aquasana AQ-UV-10C UV system.

What Does the Quartz Sleeve Do?
The quartz sleeve forms a protective barrier between the UV lamp and the water flowing through the treatment chamber. It prevents the lamp from coming into direct contact with water while allowing germicidal UV-C energy to pass through the chamber.
The sleeve also helps the UV lamp maintain the proper operating temperature needed for consistent system performance.

Does the RQ-330 fit my Contractor Series system, or only BLACKCOMB-HO?

Both. The Contractor Series LBC4-101 and LBC5-101 use the same 10 GPM High Output chamber as the BLACKCOMB-HO LBH4/5/6-101 line, so all eleven variants take the identical RQ-330 sleeve.

How do I know if I need to clean the sleeve or replace it?
A:
Clean it if it's scaled or lightly stained; replace it if it's scratched, pitted, or stays cloudy after cleaning. Even with no visible damage, Luminor recommends replacing the sleeve every 24 months as routine maintenance, since UV-C transmission through quartz declines gradually with age.

Do I need to buy the lamp too, or can I just replace the sleeve?

The RQ-330 is the sleeve only. You can, but it's not recommended. Luminor certifies its systems as a complete lamp-chamber-sleeve unit, and a non-Luminor sleeve can differ in wall thickness or quartz quality, which reduces the UV-C dose reaching the water and can affect your warranty coverage.

Does the RQ-330 work with my Aquasana system?
