Description
The RQ-500 is a genuine Luminor replacement quartz sleeve for LUMINOR RAINIER LR5-355 and LR6-355 light commercial UV systems, and their low-UVT "-50" variants. It is an authentic Luminor part, not a compatible aftermarket substitute, so it keeps your system performing the way it was originally tested and certified.
The sleeve is an open-style quartz tube that surrounds the UV lamp, letting UV-C light pass through to the water while keeping the lamp itself dry and at the right operating temperature. Luminor recommends replacing it every 24 months, or sooner if it's visibly scaled, cloudy, scratched, or pitted.

Unlike the lamp, the quartz sleeve doesn't burn out on a fixed schedule.
