Luminor LBH4-101 Blackcomb-HO 4.1 UV Water System 10 GPM

The Luminor LBH4-101 BLACKCOMB-HO 4.1 is a high-output UV water disinfection system rated at 10 GPM (37.9 L/min) at a UV dose of 30 mJ/cm² and 95% UV transmittance. A 34-watt high-output lamp in a 316L stainless steel chamber (3.5 x 16.5 inches) gives a compact system with 3/4-inch MNPT connections, sized for whole-home use in a typical three-bathroom house. The RCHO-4.12 controller shows lamp status with a tri-colour LED and remaining lamp life on a 4-digit display, with audible and visual alarms.

How it alerts you

The LED is green when the lamp is on and within its rated life, turns yellow 30 days before the lamp expires (with a chirp in the last 7 days), and turns red with a buzzer when the lamp fails or expires. The controller reports lamp status; it does not by itself confirm the water is safe to drink, so Luminor recommends testing your water for microbiological contaminants regularly.

Water quality requirements

• Luminor strongly recommends a 5-micron sediment prefilter before the UV system
• Hardness under 7 gpg (soften above this); pH 6.5-8.5
• Iron under 0.3 ppm, manganese under 0.05 ppm, tannins under 0.1 ppm, turbidity under 1 NTU
• UV transmittance above 85% (contact Luminor below 80% for pretreatment advice)

Maintenance and replacement parts

• UV lamp: RL-330HO. Replace every 12 months (high-output lamps are rated 10,000 hours).

BLACKCOMB-HO 4.1 systems do not support a UV sensor or add-on modules; choose a BLACKCOMB-HO 5.1 (LBH5-101) or 6.1 (LBH6-101) for the colour controller, expansion port and UV monitoring.

Warranty Luminor limited warranty: 10 years on the stainless steel reactor, 3 years on the controller, and 1 year on UV lamps, UV sensors and quartz sleeves.
